The review comes from Urban Cinefile who offers a similar response to the previous review in that Black Panther seems unsure where it belongs.
“The trouble with the highly anticipated Black Panther is that it doesn’t know what it wants to be: super hero extravaganza, activist action flick, James Bond wannabe or Coming to America,” the review states in part.
The reviewer also offers that there is trouble with the script and feels “the 134 minute running time drags.”
The reviewer also adds, “Where Wonder Woman soared, Black Panther struggles.”
Currently, Black Panther is a 98% Fresh at Rotten Tomatoes with 85 reviews Fresh to only 2 Rotten.
