Black Panther Films Soon; Casting Call Goes Out

According to a new report, Marvel Studios' Black Panther movie will start filming in January.

It's said director Ryan Coogler will film Black Panther in Atlanta, Georgia next month at Pinewood Studios.

A Black Panther casting call has also gone out seeking:

• double ditch jump rope girls, Ages 6 to 15

• African American boys and girls who are good at basketball, Ages 8 to 12

• male and female kids of all ethnicities to be uniformed kids, ages 8-12

• Korean Men and Women ages 18-70, and especially Korean men and women ages 40-60 for a "fun upscale scene that will only be 2 to 3 days on the movie."

• Africans that are Nigerian, Kenyan, Ethiopian, etc.

Black Panther has a February 16, 2018 release date starring Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa / Black Panther, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Daniel Kaluuya as W'Kabi, Florence Kasumba as Ayo,Winston Duke as M'Baku / Man-Ape, with Andy Serkis speculated for Ulysses Klaue / Klaw, and Sebastian Stan speculated to appear as Winter Soldier.
