Avengers: Infinity War: Karen Gillan’s Nebula Teams Up With Mystery Character

Karen Gillan lets it be known that her character Nebula teams up with a mystery character in The Avengers: Infinity War.

“I know who her new BFF is,” Karen Gillan tells Fandango. “And I can’t tell you. I can’t. I promise you it’s brilliant and unexpected. So good.”

Karen Gillan continues with talk about Nebula’s mission when asked if she has any frenemies in Avengers: Infinity War

“Ooh… I don’t know about any frenemies,” Gillan says. “She is on a clear mission, as everybody is, to deal with someone with a glove, and I think that is the most important issue. So I think people are grouping together to take care of this task.”

So @karengillan says Nebula has a new BFF in #AvengersInfinityWar & that it’s a brilliant choice. Any hints @JamesGunn?? pic.twitter.com/TFk266k1DT

I wonder who Karen Gillan could be talking about? We have to assume it’s not Gamora as that’s too obvious. I wonder if the Avengers: Infinity War poster below offers a clue? Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man?

Kevin Feige also hinted at new pairings for Avengers: Infinity War, and set pics also revealed Benedict Cumberbatch with both Paul Rudd and Mark Ruffalo, Doctor Strange with Spider-Man, and RDJ and Mark Ruffalo have been spotted with Benedict Cumberbatch and Bendict Wong.

The Avengers: Infinity War hits May 4, 2018 directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.

Synopsis:

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
