Guys Buys Avengers: Endgame Domain After I Revealed It

It’s learned that following me having revealed The Avengers: Endgame title back in April, that the next day some “guy” bought it and is now trying to score tickets to the premiere.

I posted my reveal of The Avengers: Endgame title on Thursday, April 26, prior to the film’s Thursday night screenings. I was also told the title prior to the world premiere of Infinity War.

Now some “guy” on Twitter is claiming he thought of the title all on his lonesome (lol), and took a shot and bought the domain on April 27 out of the blue.

Shill site The Wrap is even backing this guy’s claims up by posting an interview with him.

The guy has now directed the AvengersEndGame.com website to the official Fox Studios website for the PG-13 Deadpool 2 and is now trying to coerce something out of Ryan Reynolds for doing it.

Worth a mention is that what the guy is doing is totally illegal.

You can’t buy a brand domain name and then try to sell it to its owner. The Anti-Cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (via wiki):

Established a cause of action for registering, trafficking in, or using a domain name confusingly similar to, or dilutive of, a trademark or personal name. The law was designed to thwart ‘cybersquatters’ who register Internet domain names containing trademarks with no intention of creating a legitimate web site, but instead plan to sell the domain name to the trademark owner or a third party.

Good luck, dude.
