Following what went down in Infinity War with the Great Titan Thanos killing off half the universe and the Marvel superheroes, a big mystery and question on everybody’s mind is what is the official Avengers 4 title?
While I have it on good word the title is Avengers: End Game (which seemingly got confirmed by an MCU cinematographer), the Russo brothers have teased – and then deleted – an Avengers 4 title “reveal” on Instagram.
“A4 title reveal,” the Russo brothers Instagram posted along with an image featuring the text: “Infinity Mirrored Room: Aftermath of Obliteration of Eternity.”
Avengers 4 Title
Regarding the Avengers 4 title, while I was told it is Avengers: End Game, it’s possible that Marvel Studios may have ditched the name because of the leak. I was told the info prior to the release of Infinity War, and then Doctor Strange name-dropped it in the movie, and in addition, a soundtrack for the film is titled “End Game.”
Fun fact: Jim Starlin’s epic Infinity Crusade also name drops “End Game,” so it’s possible that is where the Russo brothers came up with the title. Infinity War is obviously the second part of Starlin’s epic saga, and at one time Zoe Saldana accidentally let it slip that the Avengers 4 title was Infinity Gauntlet, the title of Starlin’s first book. As a result of Zoe Saldana slipping the title, it’s also been said Marvel Studios will not be using Infinity Gauntlet for the Avengers 4 title as well.
Some fans have guessed the Avengers 4 title to be “Avengers Forever,” which the Russo brothers said is pretty close, with some fan now guessing “Avengers Eternity” due to the tease above.
When Marvel Studios will release the official Avengers 4 title remains to be seen, but Kevin Feige did say closer to the release of Captain Marvel, which comes out March 8, 2019.
Any guesses?
