With the release of the Infinity War on Blu-Ray comes a new Avengers 4 fan theory suggesting Robert Downey Jr. gets a new look and also visits Shuri in Wakanda.
Since our Great Titan Thanos destroyed half the universe and killed off half of the Marvel heroes, the remaining Avengers are going to need to put their thinking caps on to solve the problem, so who better to come up with the solution than the two of smartest people in the world with Tony Stark and Shuri?
The Avengers 4
The Infinity War Blu-Ray features an interview with Robert Downey Jr. from the set, which is actually thought to be from scenes for Avengers 4. Fans have matched up the background, which seems to suggest Robert Downey Jr. filmed scenes in Wakanda, as Letitia Wright also has the same background.
Fans also pointed out that apparently Tony Stark has a new look as his hair appears blonder, which is confirmed in separate Avengers 4 leaked set images (could it be a young Tony Stark we are seeing here?).
Since the Russo brothers filmed the movies at the same time, it’s possible Robert Downey Jr. did the interview for the Infinity War Blu-Ray while filming Avengers 4.
Of course, it could always simply be the lighting in the room making RDJ’s hair appear blonder (see the last image below from Infinity War), but Tony Stark heading to Wakanda to meet with Shuri does sounds like a good plan.
