Arrow / The Flash Superhero Team-Up Spinoff Being Developed

It’s learned the CW is currently developing a superhero team spinoff series featuring fan-favorite characters from both Arrow and The Flash.

In addition, Deadline states the new spinoff will featureĀ three major DC Comics characters who have never appeared in a TV series.

Set to star in the superhero team spinoff are: Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer (Atom); Victor Garber (Dr. Stein); Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold).

It’s also said that Caity Lotz will star in the series, though it’s unclear how she will fit in as her character died in Arrow. It’s suggested they could somehow bring back Canary or thatĀ Lotz could play a new superhero.

The report makes no mention of Robbie Amell, who is the other half to Stein’s Firestorm, but it is stated the project is in early development and additional cast members most likely will be added.

The Arrow/The Flash team spinoff is being put together byĀ ArrowĀ creatorsĀ Greg Berlanti, Andrew KreisbergĀ andĀ Marc Guggenheim, with the series eyed to debut next season/mid-season.

There is no title for the new series as of yet.
