Aquaman Director James Wan Congratulates Doctor Strange’s Scott Derrickson

Everything doesn’t have to be “DC vs. Marvel” as Aquaman director James Wan has taken to Twitter to congratulate Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson.

“Congrats to Scott Derrickson for his incredible achievements. Whose career I’ve admired and emulated. From low budget horror to tentpole,” James Wan posted.

Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange recently debuted to fantastic numbers as the film is currrently at $615.9 million worldwide. Scott Derrickson also directed Sinister, Deliver Us From Evil, The Day the Earth Stood Still and The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

James Wan is also known for his own horror movies with The Conjuring, Insidious and Saw, and of course for the blockbuster Furious 7

Aquaman has a July 27, 2018 release starring Jason Momoa and Amber Heard.
