It’s all connected?
Well, actually it’s not as Marvel Studios and Marvel TV are separate companies at Disney and don’t get along (long story).
However, the good news is that it’s looking likely that SHIELD is returning to the MCU.
SHIELD was “killed” off in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Nick Fury hasn’t been seen since Avengers 2.
It has recently been reported that Agent of SHIELD Jimmy Woo will be appearing in the Ant-Man and Wasp movie, and also that Samuel L. Jackson returns for Captain Marvel.
Now it’s being claimed that the agents of SHIELD are involved in Avengers 4, as new set images have hit the net with a Twitter user claiming agents of SHIELD are on set.
It’s possible they could always be a different Marvel government agency, similar to using Damage Control in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but with Nick Fury returning, Agents of SHIELD finally returning to the MCU seems probable. Agent Carter Hayley Atwell also looks to be returning for Avengers: Infinity War and / or Avengers 4, which is another potential sign.

The Avengers: Infinity War hits May 4, 2018, The Avengers 4 has a May 3, 2019 release.
