Agatha: Darkhold Diaries Featurette and First Look Leaks Online

Check out a first look at the Agatha: Darkhold Diaries upcoming Disney+ series as a featurette and images have leaked online via the WandaVision Blu-Ray.

The behind-the-scenes featurette and images feature Kathryn Hahn who returns from WandaVision and plays the titular character, Agatha Harkness.

A first look at Aubrey Plaza also teases her character, said to be Rio. Watch below.

What is Agatha: Darkhold Diaries about?

Thanks to a recent trademark listing leaks, details on the first episode are known.

The description offers: “In the first episode we see Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) finally break out of a spell she has been trapped in,” reads the description. “She can’t wait to go back to her old murderous ways only to find that she is powerless. The only way forward for her is to embark on a perilous quest to get her powers back with the help of an unlikely friend or two.”

Jac Schaeffer is the director and the episode also stars Joe Locke, Patti LuPone as Lilia, Sasheer Zamata as Jen K, and Ali Ahn as Alice, with Emma Caulfield Ford, Maria Dizzia, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili.

Back in August, Patti LuPone appeared on The View and teased the plot.

“It’s a coven of witches, and I play Lilia Calderu, who apparently is in the Marvel world. I researched her, she’s hot, she’s really hot, she’s got a great body and hair,” LuPone said. “I didn’t know there were witches, I didn’t know anything about the Marvel world. There are witches in the Marvel world. So, we are a coven of witches and the witches are: Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, and [a] Familiar — if anybody knows Heartstopper — is Joe Locke.”
