HBO released a new trailer for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, set to premiere January 18 on HBO and Max.

The footage focuses on Ser Duncan the Tall and Egg as they move through Westeros long before the events of Game of Thrones.

Cast and Story

The series stars Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg. The story follows the duo a century before Game of Thrones, during a period when the Targaryen line still sits on the Iron Throne but dragons have vanished from the land.

The show also features Finn Bennett, Berto Colón, Tanya Reynolds, Sam Spruell, and Fionn O’Shea in key roles across the Ashford tournament storyline and the wider political tensions brewing beneath it.
