HBO releases a new look at Game of Thrones, Watchmen, the Deadwood movie and more from their upcoming lineup coming out in 2019 in the following video.
“My heart stopped when seeing this new Euphoria and The Righteous Gemstones footage and started again at Watchmen. 2019 is my new favorite year,” the video description teases.
Game of Thrones Season 8 premiers Apr. 14 starring Lena Headey as Queen Cersei, Kit Harington as Jon Snow, Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Emilia Clark as Daenerys Targaryen, Gwendoline Christie as Brienne of Tarth, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister, Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark, John Bradley as Samwell Tarley, Isaac Hempstead Wright as Bran Stark, Maisie Williams as Arya Stark, Conleth Hill as Varys, and Liam Cunningham as Davos Seaworth.
Watchmen debuts later this year and is set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, and while Damon Lindelof (The Leftovers) plans to embrace the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel, the series will also attempt to break new ground of its own. The series stars Jeremy Irons as Ozymandias as well as Don Johnson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman), Adelaide Clemens, Frances Fisher, Louis Gossett Jr., Andrew Howard, Regina King, Jacob Ming-Trent, Tom Mison, Tim Blake Nelson, Dylan Schombing, Sara Vickers, Lily Rose Smith, and Adelynn Spoon.
Deadwood also premiers later this year and is based on the HBO series starring Timothy Olyphant and Ian McShane.
