Last week saw Kingsman 3 announced, which will see Matthew Vaughn return to write and direct, and now it is said to be a prequel starring Ralph Fiennes.
According to the Daily Mail, Kinsgman 3 will be set before “Secret Service” and “Golden Circle” and take place in WWI.
It’s claimed the third movie in the franchise will explore the origins of the intelligence organization, and will be set during World War I and will focus on the man who would be Kingsman: a character to be played by Fiennes.
The plot details are said to include fictional storylines involving the real life Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment which, for more than a century, has included Kingsman as a unique rank, the equivalent of private.
Kingsman 3 has a November 8, 2019 release, which was the date James Bond 25 recently left, and said to also star newcomer Harris Dickinson.
Ralph Fiennes is known for The Grand Budapest Hotel, Schindler’s List and for playing Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter films and the character of M in James Bond.
The previous Kinsgman movies starred Colin Firth and Taron Egerton who apparently won’t be returning for Kingsman 3 as it’s a prequel.
