Spoilers follow as Marvel Studios has released an image from The Avengers: Infinity War post-credits scene.
The end of Infinity War saw Thanos acquire all six of the Infinity Stones, and with a snap, the Great Titan wiped out half the universe.
Following the credits, a scene was shown featuring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill in NYC witnessing the destruction and havoc. As they get out of the car, Maria Hill disappears and then Nick Fury starts to disappear, but before he does, Fury manages one last call for help where it’s revealed to be none other than Captain Marvel!
Samuel L. Jackson returns for the Captain Marvel in February, which is set in the 1990s as they battle the Skrulls. What remains to be seen is just how Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) makes her way to the present day! Captain Marvel and Brie Larson will also be appearing in the May 2019 release of The Avengers 4.
