The Avengers: Infinity War has done it! The film has passed a billion dollars at the box office!
Infinity War passed the billion dollar mark in just eleven days, which is a new industry record.
The movie currently has a worldwide gross of a whopping $1.165 billion dollars.
Of that, $450.8 million is in the U.S., with $716.6 million coming from international box offices.
The film was also the #1 movie for the second week with $115.5 million and will be the top movie for a third week in a row prior to the debut of Deadpool 2 on May 18th.
The Avengers: Infinity War now holds the second-best second weekend ever after Star Wars: Force Awakens ($149.2 million).
It’s estimated next weekend will see the movie bring in close to $65 million.
Some other numbers for Infinity War include it is the #1 movie to open worldwide; #1 opening weekend domestically ever; #1 April opening; #1 Spring opening; #1 single day Saturday gross; #1 single day Sunday gross; #1 PG-13 opening weekend ever; widest PG-13 release ever; fastest to $150 million, $200 million and $250 million; second fastest to $400 and $450 million.
