Cyborg Is “Cool As Hell” Says Ray Fisher

Cyborg Cool As Hell Says Ray Fisher

When November strikes, the Justice League movie will feature the youngest (in comic book years) member of the team with Cyborg, a cybernetically technologically advanced human who has the power to hack any computer and lots more.

Not to go unnoticed is that Cyborg also happens to be African-American and disabled.

“DC’s going to be changing the name to ‘Diversity Comics’ pretty soon [laughs]. You’re dealing with the only member of Justice League who is African-American,” 30-year-old Ray Fisher tells Empire Magazine. “You are dealing with the only member of the Justice League who is in some ways what you would call disabled.”

Ray Fisher continues with mention that Cyborg is going to be bad ass.

“You don’t want to end up telling a story that isn’t respective of those factors,” Fisher says. “But he’s going to be cool as hell.”

Plans are also underway for Ray Fisher to star in a standalone Cyborg movie and we might even see Ray Fisher as Cyborg in the upcoming Flashpoint film that is currently in development.

Justice League Ray Fisher Cyborg

Justice League has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder, with the story by Chris Terrio and Zack Snyder, the screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
