The way it is looking now, it doesn’t seem as if any of the Marvel super heroes actually die in The Avengers: Infinity War as just about all of them are returning for The Avengers 4.
The latest confirmation is Guardians of the Galaxy 2’s Pom Klementieff returning as Mantis for The Avengers 4 as the actress took to her Facebook page to tease her involvement.
I suppose Kevin Feige and the Russo brothers could always be trying to pull a fast one on us by having some of the actors that may have met their maker in The Avengers: Infinity War appear on the set of The Avengers 4 to throw us off, which I’m actually hoping is the case. That said, do characters have to die in The Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 to make the films matter?
The Avengers 4 has a May 3, 2019 release; The Avengers: Infinity War hits May 4, 2018.
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
