Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind is returning to theaters for its 40th anniversary!
Close Encounters of the Third Kind debuted December 14, 1977 and returns for a one-week run starting on September 1st. The movie gets a 4K restoration and will also screen at Venice International Film Festival.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind stars Richard Dreyfuss and Melinda Dillon and is described as: After an encounter with U.F.O.s, a line worker feels undeniably drawn to an isolated area in the wilderness where something spectacular is about to happen.
Steven Spielberg also has Ready Player One coming out next year.
