Zack Snyder recently stepped down from directing the Justice League movie due to a family tradgedy, with The Avengers director Joss Whedon coming on board to finish with writing and filming.
It’s been wondered by some who would get credit for Justice League, and now at least part of the answer is made known.
Yesterday saw WB release the new Justice League Comic-Con trailer, and on the WB UK officialy Youtube page, it lists both Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon as being directors.
Update: WB UK YouTube has edited there listing and removed both Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon’s name:
Update #2: It’s being reported Joss Whedon is not getting a director’s credit.
Original article continues:
What’s unclear is if both Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon are co-directors, but in my opinion, as long as a good movie is put out, I could care less who gets credit. Obviously they both deserve credit as Zack Snyder basically finished filming, with Joss Whedon doing script rewrites and then reshoots. The Director’s Guild could also have something to do with it as contracts between the DB and studios state who gets credit, etc.
Joss Whedon is also writing, producing and directing the Batgirl movie for the DCEU.
