Fox Studios and Ridley Scott have released a new high-res image of Katherine Waterson in Alien: Covenant.
USA Today reveals:
“You don’t really know what you’re made of until you’re tested,” says the actress, whose Daniels character has similarities with
Sigourney Weaver ’s iconic Ripley. “They are both able to somehow think clearly in really shocking, unimaginable scenarios. It’s fun to play someone who can thrive in that chaos.” But she doesn’t have a favorite among the Alien Chestbursters andFacehuggers . “I’m very squeamish,” Waterston says, laughing. “I’ve seen these movies many times, but I feel like I’ve barely seen any of the alien scenes because my eyes are usually covered.”

“Alien: Covenant” has a May 19, 2017 release and is directed by Ridley Scott starring Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Noomi Rapace, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Jussie Smollett, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz and Callie Hernandez.
Synopsis:
Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created in ALIEN with ALIEN: COVENANT, the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with PROMETHEUS — and connects directly to Scott’s 1979 seminal work of science fiction. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
