How about the director of the upcoming animated LEGO Batman movie taking on a live-action DCEU film?
Chris McKay, also known for Robot Chicken, says he's interested.
A fan mentioned to Chris McKay on Twitter that he would like to see the director on a DCEU film in the future with McKay responding: "it's a long shot but I'd like to be a part of it somehow. Thank you, btw."
The fan then suggested to start a tweet petition to the co-runner of the DC films, Geoff Johns, which saw McKay respond with: "Thanks! That's nice @Mighty_Icon but I'm going to go in and see those guys and pitch myself and go from there…but thank you!"
The first DCEU movie that comes to mind that is in need of a director is The Flash as it recently became known WB is rewriting the script and searching for director after parting ways with Rick Fumijawa.
Other possible DCEU contenders would be Green Lantern Corps, which is currently being written by David Goyer, or the Cyborg movie or even Dwayne Johnson's Shazam! and Black Adam films.
Update: Ben Affleck's Batman now needs a director.
The LEGO Batman Movie hits February 10th.
