British actor John Hurt has passed away at the age of 77.
Hurt's agent, Charles McDonald, told the Associated Press he died Friday in London. John Hurt was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2015.
John Hurt is known for a plethora of roles and movies including The Elephant Man, Alien, Harry Potter, V For Vendetta, Hellboy and playing the War Doctor on Doctor Who.
John Hurt will also be seen in the upcoming projects: That Good Night, Damascus Cover, My Name Is Lenny and Darkest Hour.
