It's reported the Ben Affleck Batman movie will start filming this Spring and will be released in 2018.
The official announcement has yet to be made, and Ben Affleck has been going back and forth as of late regarding whether or not his Batman movie is actually happening (it is).
"I'm still working on the script," Affleck says about his Batman movie. "I'm not going to write and direct anything that I don't think is good enough to be made. I'm definitely going to make sure I have something that is special–there's not enough money in the world to make a mediocre version of Batman worth it."
With the recent news that the Batman movie shoots in the Spring, we can obviously guess that the Batman script is now up to Affleck's liking, which also means the Batman movie will be "something that is special."
It's also great to see just how much Ben Affleck cares in getting his Batman right. There are times when various Hollywood creators could care less about the character and story and simply go at it for a buck, but we see that's not the case with Ben Affleck.
Joining Ben Affleck on Batman are Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke and Jeremy Irons as Alfred. Geoff Johns is also co-writing the script.
Ben Affleck can next be seen as Batman in Zack Snyder's Justice League, out November 17, 2017.
