Following up on yesterday’s news that saw Disney CEO Bob Iger mention more Star Wars and Marvel movies are in the works, it’s now confirmed a Star Wars film for 2020 is already in development.
The Star Wars 2020 movie will be a standalone film, part of the Anthology movies, of which Star Wars: Rogue One and the upcoming young Han Solo movie are a part of.
While the title or plot for the Star Wars 2020 movie isn’t known, it’s previously been rumored it will focus on Boba Fett.
Disney’s current Star Wars slate is as follows, with a Star Wars movie coming out each year:

Star Wars: Episode VIII in December 15, 2017
Han Solo May 25, 2018
Star Wars: Episode IX May 24, 2019
