Robert Downey Jr. has posted an image of himself in Atlanta for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
“New project [Jon Favreau] and [Roy Choi] are working on!” Downey joked in a tweet.
The image features Robert Downey Jr. eating lunch along with Jon Favreau, who is returning as Happy Hogan for Spider-Man: Homecoming, along with Tom Holland, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo, and Roy Choi, who is the celebrity chef that was the basis for Favreau’s Chef movie (and hence the joke that they are all eating lunch and Favreau and Choi are “working” on Spider-Man).
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” has a July 7, 2017 release directed by Jon Watts starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.
Synopsis:
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Marvel Studios’ “Captain: Civil War,” begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
