Henry Cavill Talks Man of Steel Mixed Reception & Batman Vs. Superman

[page_title]

In a recent interview with Cineplex.com, Superman Henry Cavill touched upon the mix reaction that Man of Steel received. While Cavill doesn’t address the criticisms directly, some fans weren’t too thrilled with Superman killing Zod, all the destruction in Metropolis, and even letting Pa Kent die. Cavill even also offers if they will clear things up in Batman Vs. Superman.

“The reception of my first Superman movie, from what I’ve read, was fairly mixed. Everyone I’ve spoken to enjoyed the movie, but [not] unlike if you’re going to meet a stranger in the street, they’re not going to badmouth you to your face. There’s no intentional move, I don’t think, in Batman v. Superman to address any issues that people had with Man of Steel. It’s just a continuation of that storyline and they continue to develop that world and introduce new characters.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch and Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
