Fast-moving wildfires have devastated parts of California on early Friday, with it learned Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has lost his home.
Earlier saw Scott Derrickson tweet out a pic of the fire as it got closer to where he lived.
“This new fire is right on top of the location of last nights shooting in Thousand Oaks. Heavy winds are expected tonight. Sh-t is getting straight-up apocalyptic around here,” Derrickson posted 14 hours ago.
Derrickson then tweeted out they are under “mandatory evacuation, fleeing the inferno” followed by they are “safe.”
Scott Derrickson then tweeted forty minutes ago that they lost their home.
“We lost our home, but we are all safe and that’s the important thing. Gonna be offline for awhile,” he said.

The California wildfires have destroyed thousands of structures and forced residents to evacuate, with currently over 20 million people under red flag warnings.
Currently, there are three fires: The Camp fire, The Hill fire and the Woosley fire (via CNN and Weather Channel).
