Details On DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Spoiler Future & Season 2

Spoilers follow for tonight’s episode of DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow.

Without revealing too many details about tonight’s stellar episode of DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, the episode did see the death of Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold.

However, as DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow happens to be a time travel show, it’s learned this is not the last we’ve seen of Leonard Snart.

Deadline reveals Wentworth Miller has signed a new contract with WB TV that will enable him to appear on any of the CW TV shows, which means he will no longer be a regular on DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow next season, but the good news is that Snart will still appear at some point.

Regarding season 2 of DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, it’s also revealed two new members will be joining the team, a male and female.

Greg Berlanti offered on Wentworth Miller and Captain Cold:

“We always knew that he wouldn’t be a permanent member of The Waverider. We also knew we loved him on the show and all the shows, Flash as well.”

“What it really emulates to us is the comic books themselves where there really are a cast of characters,” Berlanti said. While Miller, who also has been filming the Prison Breakfollowup, “won’t be part of the team of Legends on board of The Waverider next year, he will have a very active role on the show.”

Miller’s is “the first contract not applicable to just one show,” Berlanti said. “In success we hope to continue with other characters finding their way across all the shows.”

“He is a guy who who was a villain at the beginning, finding the hero in him by the end,” Berlanti said.

On Season 2 of DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow:

“One of joys and advantages is that it allows us to change in success who is on The Waverider and not,” Berlanti said. “Flash and Arrow are very much about building one team, while there is an anthology element to Legends.”

“Every year for this show people should expect a new adventure,” said Berlanti, dropping a few hints about Season 2. “There will be new teammates, a new big bad. Mixing and matching things is part of the fun of the show.”

“DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow” airs Thursday’s at 8pm ET on The CW starring Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance, Ciara Renée as Hawkgirl, Franz Drameh as Firestorm, Dominic Purcell as Heatwave, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, Falk Hentschel as Hawkman, and Casper Crump as Vandal Savage.
