The late release and leak for the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer may have turned out to be a good thing for Sony and Marvel as it is reported the trailer views actually beat out The Avengers: Endgame.
Deadline reports that after Sony released the teaser at CinemaCon and on social media Monday night, that the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer webbed in 355.5 million global views in its first 24 hours, beating the likes of the previous record-holder, The Avengers: Endgame, which had 289 million views.

Deadline also says that “Sony is guaranteed to have a huge hit on its hands with Spider-Man: No Way Home this coming December. Like, really huge.”
Spider-Man: No Way Home more hype than The Avengers: Endgame
The article further adds that the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer has more than doubled the second trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home, which had 135 million views, and that Spider-Man: Far From Home happened to be Sony’s largest-grossing movie in its history with $1.131 billion, which suggest good things for No Way Home.
It’s also learned the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer generated the largest 24-hour social media conversation volume of all time with 4.5 million mentions globally, and that domestically, the trailer generated 2.91 million mentions in 24 hours, again ahead of The Avengers: Endgame’s 1.94 million mentions.
Likewise, No Way Home’s domestic conversation on social media also beat out the second Far From Home trailer, which generated 1.5 million mentions, and internationally, the No Way Home trailer generated 1.56 million mentions in 24 hours, ahead of The Avengers: Endgame’s 1.38 million mentions.
Regarding the trailer, fans were excited by the fact that the film will connect to the Marvel Multiverse, as the footage and leaks confirm Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn, Jamie Foxx as Electro, with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield expected, and some fans also think the footage of the new black and gold Spider-Man suit hints at the Lizard, and also that something is up with Doctor Strange.
