Marvel’s Avengers Gameplay Footage Shows Off Hulk, Iron Man, More

Earlier in the week at the E3 saw Square Enix debut the trailer for Marvel’s Avengers, to little fanfare; however, now gameplay footage has landed online promising a potentially better product.

At the Square Enix booth at E3, fans were able to actually play the game, which someone recorded and posted online, from the first level featuring the attack on the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Marvel’s Avengers gameplay footage below is hard to make out, but footage shows off Iron Man using his Repulsor beams; the Hulk can be seen in action running, jumping and smashing everything in his path; you can play as Captain America (at least for one level), with Black Widow punching and shooting the crud out of the bad guys including Task Master.

The footage doesn’t look too bad, let’s just hope they upgrade the art and graphics a bit, which has been everyone’s main concern, and I also have issues with the possible story.

Marvel’s Avengers goes on sale May 15, 2020 for PC, PS4 and XBox. Pre-ordering will get you invited to Beta Access.

Marvel’s Avengers

Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source (terrigen tech). The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix are excited to unveil Marvel’s Avengers, an epic action-adventure game that combines cinematic storytelling with single-player and co-operative gameplay. Developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software, and Crystal Northwest.
