Check out the latest set photo posted on Bryan Singer’s Instagram – it’s James McAvoy going bald for X-Men: Apocalypse.

Singer added, “Xavier reborn,” with the image.

McAvoy is, of course, playing Charles Xavier, aka Professor X, who happens to have a shiny dome in the comics and who’s future self is played by Patrick Stewart.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” has a May 27, 2016 release directed by Bryan Singer starring Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Channing Tatum, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Rose Byrne, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp and Oscar Issac.
