‘Man of Tomorrow’ Diverse Casting Call Seeks Biracial Family For James Gunn’s Superman Sequel

A new casting call appears to offer a look at what James Gunn is filming for Man of Tomorrow in Georgia.

A Redditor who says he is an actor in the Atlanta area posted screenshots of a Central Casting Georgia listing for Warner Bros. under the working title “Exodus.”

The listing is for a “Family Cast for Feature Film” shooting in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Warner Bros. Casting Call Seeks Family For Feature Film

The casting call says a “major feature film” is looking for a family to portray the biracial family of a lead character.

The listing asks for a mother and two children who can represent a “loving, on-screen family dynamic,” with the job involving both fitting and filming sessions.

The requirements include:

  • Mother figure, early 30s–40s, African American, Asian, or Latina
  • Two children, ages 7–11, able to portray biracial background
  • Comfortable being on camera
  • Strong natural chemistry between family members
  • Available for fitting and filming in Fayetteville, Georgia

The listing does not name Man of Tomorrow directly, but the Warner Bros. “Exodus” title confirms it is for the film.

Could Be Connected To A Lead Character

The most interesting detail is that the family is described as belonging to a “lead character.”

The scene could involve a new character being introduced in Man of Tomorrow. It could also be part of a flashback, a Daily Planet storyline, a civilian rescue scene, or a larger DCU setup. Gunn has also been filming prison scenes.

Since the casting call does not identify the character, there is no confirmation about who the family is connected to. Still, the wording suggests this is not just random background work.
