FROM fans are not happy that the series is ending with Season 5, and Harold Perrineau has now responded on X.
The backlash comes after MGM+ confirmed work has started on Season 5 ahead of the Season 4 premiere, with the network and producers making it clear the upcoming fifth season will bring the story to a close.

Fans React To FROM Ending
One fan on X questioned why MGM+ would end what they called its highest-rated show after five seasons and said Hollywood no longer lets great shows last.
The post was directed at Perrineau, who stars as Boyd, with the fan calling the decision sad and praising him and the generation of actors they grew up watching.
That reaction appears to reflect what a lot of viewers are feeling right now, especially with Season 4 still about to debut and excitement for the series at a high point.
Harold Perrineau Responds
Perrineau replied directly to the fan on X and offered a simple explanation for why the show is ending.
“We want to bring the best version possible to the screen. 5 seasons does that for us,” he posted.
His response suggests the creative team sees five seasons as the right length to finish the story without dragging it out.

FROM Season 5 Will Be The Final Chapter
The final season announcement came with a message from executive producers John Griffin, Jeff Pinkner, and Jack Bender, who said they have officially begun work on Season 5 and are grateful they will get the chance to bring the story to its conclusion.
They also teased that questions will be answered, answers will be questioned, and that plenty of tears and terror still lie ahead.
