DC has revealed a new look at Jason Momoa as Lobo in Supergirl, and fans also get fresh images of Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El.

The images come from From Comic to Screen: The Art of Supergirl, a new hardcover book described as a curated look at Kara’s evolution from the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic to DC Studios’ upcoming Supergirl movie, which is set to hit theaters on June 26, 2026.

New look at Jason Momoa as Lobo

The image puts Momoa front and center in the biker-style look from the comics. He’s shown with the long black hair, white skin, red eyes, heavy chains, leather gear, and the brutal oversized weaponry. The design also comes with a close-up comic comparison.

The accompanying page notes that the goal was not to simply copy the comics panel for panel, but to capture the tone and attitude of the character while adapting him for live-action.

Milly Alcock’s Supergirl also gets spotlight

The book also offers a new look at Milly Alcock as Supergirl, both in costume and in her civilian outfit.

One image shows Alcock wearing Kara’s longer brown coat over a blue shirt and jeans with boots, while another gives a better look at the full Supergirl suit underneath.

Another image pairs Alcock’s look with comic art, again showing how the filmmakers are drawing from the source material.
