Lana Del Rey has released “First Light,” the new song tied to 007 First Light, the upcoming James Bond video game from IO Interactive.
The track is now out, with the game set to launch on May 27, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is now planned for later in 2026 following a delay. Listen below.

Lana Del Rey joins 007 First Light
The release gives 007 First Light another big push as IO Interactive keeps building hype around its reimagined Bond game.
Del Rey’s “First Light” fits the Bond brand well, and it gives the project a bigger identity outside the usual gaming audience. The song was co-composed with Bond veteran David Arnold, which makes the tie-in stand out even more.
What 007 First Light is about
The song arrives as part of the marketing push for 007 First Light, which tells a new origin story for James Bond. Instead of dropping players into a fully formed 007, the game follows Bond in his early MI6 days as he works his way toward becoming the iconic spy.
007 First Light centers on a younger James Bond and offers a reimagined take on his beginnings in MI6. The game is being developed by IO Interactive, the studio behind Hitman, so expectations are high for stealth, action, and cinematic storytelling.

007 First Light controller also revealed
Along with the song, 007 First Light recently got its own limited edition DualSense controller.
PlayStation says the design features a golden sheen and a radiant barrel look, with Bond’s codename and weapon framed on the touchpad.
The 007 First Light Limited Edition DualSense controller will be sold in limited quantities for $84.99 in the U.S., with pre-orders starting April 17 at 10 a.m. local time through direct.playstation.com, where available, and participating retailers. PlayStation also says availability and launch timing can vary by region.
