Sony has officially launched the Spider-Man: Brand New Day website, which is the clearest sign yet that marketing for the movie is finally ramping up.
The official site is now live and features the movie logo, social links, a sign-up for updates, and a theatrical release date of July 31, 2026.

Official site goes live
The launch matters because Sony usually does not flip the switch on an official movie site this far out without the marketing campaign getting ready to move.
The homepage for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now branded and public, which tells fans Sony is starting to line up the next phase of promotion.
The site also includes a prompt to sign up for Sony e-mail updates and a link in the source code to a fan contest (more on that below). That alone suggests Sony is now building out its audience funnel ahead of a bigger push.

Fan contest link adds to the timing
There is also a direct Sony sweepstakes page connected to Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The contest page includes the movie branding and lists a Sony theater prize pack featuring a BRAVIA TV, PlayStation 5 Pro, Dolby Atmos soundbar, headphones, a $500 Fandango gift card, and Blu-rays including Spider-Man: No Way Home.
That does not confirm a trailer by itself, but it does show Sony is putting the marketing pieces in place.
When the official site is up and contest pages are live, that usually means the studio is preparing for broader public promotion rather than keeping the movie in a quiet pre-marketing phase.

When will the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer be released?
This lines up with the recent rumor that the first Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer could drop next week.
Nothing has been officially announced, but with the website now live and Sony’s contest page already in motion, the idea of a trailer arriving soon looks a lot more believable than it did a few days ago.
It would also fit the normal timing. Spider-Man: Brand New Day opens July 31, so March or April is exactly when fans would expect the first real marketing wave to begin.
Could Project Hail Mary be the launch point?
That is why the Project Hail Mary theory still makes sense.
If Sony releases the trailer next week, it could drop online first and then play in theaters alongside Ryan Gosling’s Project Hail Mary. That would give Sony a strong launch point in front of a major sci-fi audience while also kicking off the summer campaign.
CinemaCon next month is still another possible option, but the website launch makes it look like Sony may not wait that long.
