Robert Downey Jr. posted a photo from a Super Bowl party showing himself rocking an Avengers: Doomsday jersey, keeping Marvel hype alive even without a big game trailer.
Downey posted the image to the tune of ACDC’s “Thunderstruck” and wrote: “Team Green 🏈.”
The photo shows Downe wearing green a Avengers: Doomsday jersey, standing in front of football-themed balloon decorations.
Marvel Studios notably opted out of the Super Bowl ad blitz this year, choosing not to debut a trailer or teaser during the game. Instead, Downey’s post served as a low-key reminder that Avengers: Doomsday is still very much on the way. Marvel also recently released a batch of teasers that were viewed over a billion times.
