WWE fans, get ready! “The Beast” is back.
Brock Lesnar has officially confirmed he will be a part of this year’s Royal Rumble, sending shockwaves through the WWE Universe with a surprise announcement on The Pat McAfee Show.
Lesnar Says He’s “On His Way” To The Rumble
Lesnar called into McAfee’s live broadcast and didn’t waste time dropping the bombshell.
He said he’s on his way, is in great shape, and that he’s going to win. “We’re going to do this,” he said.
No cryptic tease, no subtle promo, just classic Brock.
Update: WWE confirms and releases a Brock Lesnar Royal Rumble poster:

Lesnar Wants Another WrestleMania Main Event
With his Rumble entry confirmed, Lesnar now eyes WrestleMania 40. A Rumble win would almost certainly set up a marquee main event.
Who could he be targeting? Could it be Roman Reigns again? Or maybe Seth Rollins? Cody Rhodes? Or even a long-awaited clash with Gunther?

Brock’s Shocking Return Comes Amid WWE Surprises
Lesnar’s return adds even more fire to an already loaded Royal Rumble card.
With speculation running wild about The Rock, CM Punk, and other returning legends, Lesnar’s inclusion turns this into one of the most unpredictable Rumbles in years.

What’s Next?
The Royal Rumble takes place this Saturday, January 27, live from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. The event streams starting at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT, exclusively on ESPN in the United States and Netflix internationally.
Confirmed matches include Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn, the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, and the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
If Lesnar is truly “on his way,” someone’s getting suplexed into next week.
