AMC Brings Panels and Previews to NYCC 2025: Anne Rice, Walking Dead, Shudder

AMC is returning to NYCC with panels and sneak previews from Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and a celebration of Shudder’s 10th anniversary.

Fans attending New York Comic Con will get first looks at new shows, teasers, and behind-the-scenes content from some of AMC’s biggest properties.

Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe at NYCC

Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order
AMC will debut Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order on the Main Stage Friday, October 10, from 6:45–8:00pm. The panel will showcase the mysterious society tasked with tracking witches, vampires, and other creatures, ahead of the show’s two-episode premiere on October 26 on AMC and AMC+. Cast members Nicholas Denton, William Fichtner, and Eric Bogosian join Executive Producers Mark Johnson and John Lee Hancock.

Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat
Following Talamasca, AMC will present The Vampire Lestat with Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Eric Bogosian, Assad Zaman, and Jennifer Ehle. The panel will preview the series’ 2026 return and feature a new teaser for season three.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Panel

On Friday, October 10, from 8:30–9:15pm, AMC will host The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. The discussion will spotlight the final two episodes of season three, with Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride on stage alongside producers Scott M. Gimple, David Zabel, and Greg Nicotero. Attendees will see exclusive new footage and a behind-the-scenes look at season four.

Shudder Celebrates 10 Years at NYCC

Shudder Is Here To Scare The S* Out Of You**
On Saturday, October 11, from 8:00–9:00pm in Room 405, Shudder will mark its 10th anniversary with a look back at its history and an update on upcoming projects. The panel includes Greg Nicotero, Josh Ruben, Micheline Pitt-Norman, Willa Holland, and Jermaine Fowler, with Shudder programming head Sam Zimmerman moderating.

Evolution of Queer Horror / Queens of the Dead
Also on Saturday, October 11, from 3:30–4:30pm in Room 406.3, Shudder presents a panel on queer horror featuring Queens of the Dead, a zombie spectacle from Tina Romero. Cast and creators will discuss the project and the growing influence of queer voices in horror, with The New York Times critic Erik Piepenburg moderating.
