Paramount+ has released a new official trailer for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season three. The new season kicks off with two episodes on Thursday, July 17, streaming exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and other regions where the platform is available. Episodes will then drop weekly every Thursday through the season finale on September 11.

What’s New in Season 3
The story picks up after the intense season two cliffhanger involving the Gorn. Captain Pike and the U.S.S. Enterprise crew face new missions that will push their limits, including a new villain. Season three continues to expand the Star Trek universe, introducing fresh characters and genre twists.
Expect a mix of action, mystery, romance, and comedy—some episodes take creative risks not seen in previous Star Trek shows.

Returning Cast and Guest Stars
The cast includes Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun and Martin Quinn. Guest appearances this season include Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt, Cillian O’Sullivan, Melanie Scrofano, Carol Kane and Paul Wesley.
Behind the Scenes
The series is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers return as co-showrunners, with executive producers including Alex Kurtzman, Anson Mount, Rod Roddenberry, Aaron Baiers, Dana Horgan, Alan McElroy, Robbie Thompson, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Chris Fisher and Trevor Roth. A fourth season is already in production.

To promote the new season, Paramount+ is offering free streaming of season one from June 30 through July 31. The episodes will be available on Pluto TV, Paramount+ channels on Amazon, Apple and Roku, Paramount+’s Free Content Hub and the official Paramount+ YouTube channel.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is available on Paramount+ in the U.S., U.K., Latin America, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Japan. In Canada, it streams on Paramount+.
