Disney held the Red Carpet premiere for Snow White in Los Angeles on Saturday night, where true to the rumors, the event was scaled back and featured only a Disney house crew, with various members of the press allowed to take images and photographs.
The first reactions are also starting to his social media. The first reaction comes from a reporter from Variety, which was retweeted by the official Walt Disney Studios X account.
What are the reactions to Disney’s Snow White?
The reporter, who uses pronouns in her bio, tweeted:
Rachel Zegler is a shining supernova in #SnowWhite, beautifully embodying the graceful, gentle nature of the OG Disney princess. It’s a visual feast with show-stopping new musical numbers and, of course, dozens of enchanting animated animals. The screenplay wisely gives its heroine newfound depth through her fervent desire to become the leader her father believed she could be, and a love story that’s sweet as apple pie,
We’ll update with more reactions when they become available. Check out a run down of the Red Carpet premiere event below.

What happened at the Snow White premiere?
According to reports, the Red Carpet premiere for Snow White was pretty low-key. Again, both Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot and the rest of the cast weren’t allowed to be interviewed by any of the press. They were only interviewed by Jodi Benson, whom Disney employed, and who is known for voicing Ariel in the 1989 The Little Mermaid animated movie.
The event took place at the El Capitan Theater. According to Variety, they used a tented venue outside for the premiere. Typically, Hollywood Boulevard gets closed off for the events as the Red Carpet premieres pours out into the streets with dozens of reports and photographers lining up at the Red Carpet. The celebs then make their way down the Red Carpet and talk to press. Disney’s Snow White had none of that.
Disney CEO Bob Iger did attend as did Disney Entertainment co-chairman Alan Bergman and David Greenbaum, President of Disney Live Action Studios and 20th Century Studios.
THR, owned by the same company as Variety and Deadline, also adds both Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot were in “high spirits” amid all the controversies. Zegler has previously come out against the original animated movie, Trump, and supports Palestine. Gadot supports Israel.
