It is announced that Supernatural and The Boys‘ Jensen Ackles has joined Justin Hartley in the popular CBS series, Tracker.
Ackles will play the estranged brother of Hartley which has been a plot point throughout Season 1.

Jensen Ackles Guest Stars as Colter’s Brother, Russell Shaw
“Colter is forced to team up with his estranged brother, Russell, who enlists his help to track down a former army buddy who’s gone missing after several weeks of paranoid behavior,” states the synopsis from CBS. “The investigation takes the brothers into the world of Special Forces missions, shady off-the-books programs and conspiracy theories, all while they contend with their family’s past.”

As noted, Tracker has already been renewed for Season 2. Jensen Ackles makes his debut in the penultimate episode of Season 1, “Off The Books,” airing on Sunday, May 12.
What is Tracker about?
Tracker stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family.
The series is based on the bestselling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver. The series also stars Fiona Rene, Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany and Eric Graise.
