The live-action One Punch Man movie at Sony that is supposed to be directed by Justin Lin gets a pair of new writers with Dan Harmon and Heather Anne Campbell.
Dan Harmon is known for co-creating Community, where the Russo Brothers directed episodes of the series, and Harmon is also known for Rick and Morty.
Likewise, Heather Anne Campbell is known for Rick and Morty and she directed episodes of the two season Jordan Peel Twilight Zone reboot including the episodes titled “Six Degrees of Freedom,” “Not All Men,” and “Among The Trodden.”

Rick & Morty writers haven’t worked out for Marvel
A number of Rick & Morty writers have moved to live-action films particularly with Marvel; however, unfortunately, it hasn’t turned out too successful.
Jeff Loveness wrote Quantumania which mega-bombed at the box office and with fans; Jessica Gao was behind She-Hulk which isn’t getting a Season 2, and Michael Waldron’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a disappointment.
One Punch Man doesn’t have a release date and is based on the popular Manga created by One and follows Saitama, a superhero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch.
