In a new interview, Florence Pugh says she still feels like Thunderbolts might not happen.
The film has seen filming and release date delays and new writers being brought on board with script rewrites. In addition, actors have come and gone which includes Steven Yeun as The Sentry.
Rumors have also offered Thunderbolts will be canceled.
What does Florence Pugh say about Thunderbolts?
While promoting the upcoming release of Dune Part II, Entertainment Tonight asked the actress about Marvel’s Thunderbolts movie. The stie noted there has been some false starts with the movie but that it is going forward and asked what can we expect and how excited is she to get back to work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“It kind of feels like it still might not happen because the amount of times it’s been on pause which is just a natural feeling,” said Pugh.
While that sounds like bad news, according to Florence Pugh, she starts filming on Thunderbolts once she is done promoting Dune.
“But I am going straight after this so when we’re done with press, I am going to go to Atlanta and start doing some prep and then I’ll do a bit more press with you guys and then I’m off,” she said. “I’m shooting. I’ll be there for a large portion of time, and it’s wonderful, when we shot Black Widow, we thought we were going to shoot the next move relatively sooner than we did [laughs] and it’s just been this thing, you know, we’ve been waiting to shoot.
Pugh added, “It’s been looming, at some point in the future, now it’s actually happening so it feels like it’s real. It’s coming back. Elena’s coming back.”
