Zombieland 2 Poster Offers First Look

Following a ten year break, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Abigail Breslin are back for Zombieland 2, as a first look poster has been released revealing the new title to be Zombieland: Double Tap.

The film gets released October 11, 2019 once again directed by Ruben Fleischer, with Deadpool scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese having written the script. Fleischer also recently directed the Venom movie at Sony, which was a huge hit. Zoey Deutch and Rosario Dawson are also a part of the cast.

The plot is said to be similar to the first movie where the motley crew goes on a journey through America facing zombies with new human survivors thrown into the the mix.

Check out the Zombieland: Double Tap poster and a ten-year comparison below. “Double Tap” is a reference to a shooting technique where two shots are fired in rapid succession at the same target (and was also made popular by the Call of Duty zombie games as a perk). The first Zombieland was released Oct. 2, 2009 and brought in over $102 million on a $23.6 million budget.
