Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel Now Streaming Free On Tubi

Tubi is making a big move in Canada, adding more than 600 movies and TV shows from Disney, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Discovery.

One title that should jump out to DC fans is Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, which is now available to stream free on Tubi in Canada.

That gives Tubi a solid hook with superhero fans, and it fits exactly with how the company is pitching the expansion.

David Salmon, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, International, said Tubi is focused on serving fandoms at scale and called the platform home to the largest library of movies and TV series in Canada, aimed especially at younger and multicultural viewers.

Tubi says free streaming is about fandom

Tubi says the Canada expansion is all about serving fandoms with a bigger free library. Sam Harowitz, SVP of Content Acquisition and Partnerships, said the company is working with studios to bring viewers more of the movies and series they already love.

Tubi also pointed to its new Canadian streaming report, which found deep catalogs help drive rediscovery, repeat viewing, and cross-generational watching. The company added that its Canadian monthly active users have grown 30% year over year since 2020, and it recently announced a strategic partnership with Bell Media.

For fans, the takeaway is simple. Tubi just made its free lineup in Canada a lot bigger, and Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel is now part of it.

Deadline first reported on the Tubi expansion in Canada.
