Why was Beau DeMayo fired?

The site says that early last week is when DeMayo parted ways with Marvel and that his company e-mail has been deactivated and cast and crew were informed he was no longer on the project.

Beau DeMayo has also deleted his Instagram account, where the writer/producer was promoting the series with art and answering fan questions.

THR says that no reason has been given for the firing, and Deadline adds a reason for his departure is not clear and that Marvel has no comment.

DeMayo also wrote on Moon Knight for Marvel and early drafts of the upcoming Blade movie.

The X-Men ’97 animated series is due to be released on Disney+ on March 20. DeMayo had been with Marvel since getting hired in November of 2021.
