Add one more original actor and character to Independence Day 2 with Vivica A. Fox.
Both director Roland Emmerich and Vivica A. Fox confirmed the news on their Twitter accounts.
Vivica A. Fox played stripper mom Jasmine Dubrow in the 1996 film.
Jessie Usher is set to play Jasmine’s son in the sequel (but Will Smith is not set to return).
Fox joins Jeff Goldblum, who will be back as David Levinson, and Liam Hemsworth, with Bill Pullman expected back as well.
Independence Day 2 has a June 24, 2016 release.
