Paramount is moving forward with their first Transformers spinoff movie.
Deadline reports the Bumblebee movie now has a script and directors are being sought.
Paramount and Michael Bay recently put together a Transformers “writers room” to help flesh out the planned Hasbro Transformers shared universe, with Christina Hodson (Unforgettable, Shut In) providing the Bumblebee script.
No plot details for the Bumblebee movie are presently known.
The next Transformers movie hits June 23, 2015 with Transformers: The Last Knight directed by Michael Bay and starring Mark Wahlberg.
An animated Transformers Cyberton origin movie is also said to be in the works.
