Bryan Singer has tweeted that the young Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm have been cast in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Tye Sheridan (Last Man Standing, Tree Of Life, Mud) will play Cyclops, Sophie Turner (Game Of Thrones) will play Jean Grey and Alexandra Shipp (House of Anubis, Straight Outta Compton) will play Storm.

X-Men: Apocalypse sees the X-Men in the 1980s battling Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse.

James Marsden previously played Cyclops, with Famke Janssen as Jean Grey and Halle Berry as Storm.

X-Men: Apocalypse has a May 7, 2016 release directed by Bryan Singer also starring Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Michael Fassbender as Magneto and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier.
